Hello to everyone, been a lurker for ma while now, but looks like I maybe a bit late. Are they seriously taking the points system away?

Got the birthday email from Q but the code didn't work......says I entered the code before....I think that there may be a glitch.....doesn't matter -- I had a fabulous day anyway!

My three year anniversary of being a so called Smart Canuckette,
Sometimes I wonder what I am doing but I haven’t figured that out yet,
I chatter, I natter & I sometimes post pics,
I prattle, seen battle & talked about flicks,
Sometimes I say just what’s on my mind,
Even wrote prose about things that are lined,
Upon reflecting about things I’ve learned here,
It is a place where so many have come to endear,
We’ve had our differences & an occasional kerfuffle,
& times when we should have opted to muffle,
We’ve had many join us & blend nicely into our little fold,
We’ve have folks who were banned for being too bold,
We’ve had loss; we’ve had triumphs & some very lucky winners,
We’ve given tips & welcomed many Smart Canuck beginners,
Some of our one time greats we all miss dearly,
& that is a statement that I make more sincerely,
Your resident poet sometimes thinks about retiring,
But I keep coming back, cause you’re all so inspiring,
I certainly didn’t intend to post daily at such a feverish pitch,
& being a Smart Canuck has certainly not made me rich,
Thanks to you all for always knowing the right things to say,
As sometimes we all need a boost to brighten our day,
Although our “Q” thread may see some changes,
We can still come here for our pleasant exchanges.
I think I have likely said so much more than enough,
Now off you all go to enjoy your day & strut your delightful stuff,

Hey Suzy, I wouldn't be overly concerned - there's always something worthy on this site populated by a diverse bunch of folk who'll make you feel welcome.
BTW welcome to the site. If you've been lurking even a short time you'll have noticed that we care for each other and having fun is high on our list of priorities.

No more hostility, it’s a dead end street,
We have something really good here; let’s keep it upbeat,
Share your stories, post your pics,
Do what you can to fit into the mix,
Listen to the “Q” & you can even critique the tunes,
If it’s a song you like, you can play your spoons,
You can play the slots & your points may dwindle,
But, what we need to do here is kinda rekindle,
We need harmony & friendship & not rehash,
Unless you wanna report on last night’s bash,
I wish there was more that I could say,
If only to brighten up somebody’s day,
We all do things & we say things sometimes,
