Yesterday's edge walk. Maggie is second from the left and I'm on the RH side

....oh, almost forgot, here's a little aside....according to my fabulous niece Alyshia, her "B*tch, with a capital C" mother of hers is considering going to the funeral.....her so called "reason" will be to support her kids..... now if you remember last year, she's the one who stiffed her kids with my brother's funeral costs, but she is getting the insurance money..... yep, you support your kids....uh-huh...right...
....anyway, should she have the nerve, I'll be telling her she is not wanted here.... my dad specifically told me that he absolutely did NOT want her anywhere near his funeral service or visitation after she showed up to my brother's funeral....if she thinks she's there to pay her respects, then by rights, she should respect his wishes and leave....makes sense, yes?....so we will see how this goes....
.....I know she is scared of me....can you imagine?....li'l ole me?!??!.....LOL!!....however, if she does show up, the legendary Scottish temper (which is in my DNA, for sure!!!) will be summoned and she bloody well SHOULD be scared....I will keep you posted....
....anyway, I'm off to get started on the last bits of funeral prep....catch y'all later....TR

She sounds like a real piece of work... smack her down, not literally, of course. She has no business intruding where she is not wanted and obviously has her own agenda, which has nothing to do with supporting her kids.

.........well, I'll do what I can with it....tonight is visitation....we decided to put the eulogy on hold since that's for Friday, but the slide show and music will be required for tonight.....we'll upload some of the pics we chose from the photo albums last night, and put them onto a CD for a rotating slide show....
..........there were about 10 CD's with him playing on them, so we'll work on the music and burn a CD with specific songs.....my sister suggested the Louis Armstrong song, "It's A Wonderful World" that my dad covered on one of the CD's....so we'll have him singing and playing at the beginning of the service....I am hoping it comes together with a bit of class, and we get his last sendoff done well....fingers crossed, prayers dispatched....TR
