evening Q sters,
this afternoon turned out better than this morning. the clouds went away & the sun came out. was out with rodent picking up a set of luggage for her trip out west. got a great deal on a set at Bentley's. they were having a 60% off sale, plus buy 2 pieces & receive an additional 30% off the 2nd, buy 3 & receive an additional 40% off the 3rd & buy 4 & receive an additional 50% off the 4th. pick up a couple of things for tomorrows trip. looking forward to it & lots of fun with the girls. my arms are still sore from yesterday's weed wacking. will be listening for the mailbox crushers. hope everyone enjoyed their tuesday.

With a car we're trying to flip.

The call came in on the 401,
It was big to say the least.

The weather started getting rough,

Then as the rain came teeming down
My BlackBerry signal was lost.

No phone, no text, no internet;
Not a single utility.
Like Elmo camping by the Grand,
as primitive as can be.

I set my phone down at the counter of
A Bell Mobility.
"This phone has been replaced today
with a brand new smart LG."

"No it hasn't." "Yes it has." "No it hasn't."
"Yes it has, It's right here in your file."
"I didn't upgrade, check and you'll see
That I've only had this for a while."

So Tech Support came on the line,
As helpful as can be.
"Of course your BlackBerry doesn't work,
You have a new LG."

Someone bought a phone, someone else screwed up,
And assigned it to my number.
So, simple, right, just change it back,
And end my data slumber.

Au contraire, mon fraire - that would be fair,
But way too freakin' easy.
"We have to speak with the sales agent."
I started getting queasy.

So somewhere in Iqaluit,
Or Twilingate or Moose Factory,
Someone has a new LG
That they find satisfactory.

Driver's licence, VISA card,
And a little DNA,
Convinced the diligent cellphone cops
That I was who I say.

Onward I soared, my phone restored,
With no apology.
But wait, this faux renewal will
Reset my chronology.

When I'm due a new phone,
With Tech Support,
Supervisor too,
The Sales Agents, gee they're swell,

The lucky stiff with the new LG,
Here at good old Ma Bell.

I wicked storm passed through here about 30 mins ago and
we lost power 3 times...

HAPPY HUMP DAY

Speaking of hump day:
A man is driving his 8 year old son home from school.

While they are stopped at a traffic light, the son notices 2 dogs humping on the lawn next to the car.

"What are they doing?" asks the kid.

"Uuuhhhh.....they.....are.....uh........making a puppy" says Dad.

The son says OK, and dad is relieved he didn't have to tell the birds and bees story yet.

The next Sunday morning, the son bursts into his parents bedroom while his parents are naked and Dad is on top of Mom.

"What are you doing, Dad?" the kid asks.

Dad thinks for a minute, then replies..."We are making a baby"

The kid looks puzzled, then says "Well, Dad, roll Mom over, I'd rather have a puppy!"
