Good morning to you and it is happy evening for me. Just checking in from what was a sunny day in China. We are 120 miles south west of Shanghai. We spend tonight. The 14-1/2 to get here was brutal, but is well worth. The hotel they have us in unbelievable. It is called the Inspirock and I will have send pictures when I get back. Just had dinner with about 700 people. The food didn't stop and neither did the drinks. Been a long day so time to crash. Take care!

Hi all, still here.
My wife and I were standing 200 metres from the finish line yesterday waiting for our daughter to finish the half marathon when a runner in front of us began asking for a medic to come quickly. I am sure you heard the news, a 27 year old man dropped dead 300 metres from the finish. His parents were right there. How tragic.
Our daughter ran by not knowing what was going on. Her boyfriend who had already finished witnessed the entire tragedy.
We were extremely proud of our daughter but certainly spirits were low as a result of the circumstances.
And oh yeah, my wifes' car was stolen last week!

where was the car stolen from? did you get it back?
coworker had car stolen from driveway. had 'boomerang' in it but it was useless as the car had been taken to an underground parking garage. at least she got it back in good condition... eventually.

no sign of the car....it has been 2 weeks......it was a 2009 Toyota Corolla..right from our driveway and the guy across the street has a nice Vet and our other neighbour has very sleek BMW.......go figure?
We had 6 months to go on a lease, then a $9000 buyout.......car was in great shape with low mileage, we were going to buy it.......now I am afraid we are going to get screwed
