Good Morning All!

Had a great time yesterday. Dodged the crowds for a bit, had dinner at Fran's and then to the Elgin Theatre for the show. It was a fun time as usual. They had a cute little dog playing the role of Toto in it, he belonged to one of the actor's so instead of leaving him at home every night they figured they could have him star in the show. That's a good idea cause the show is on 6 nights a week from Nov 25 to Jan 8! He was really good except at one point he wandered off the stage so someone threw a treat back out so he ran back to where he supposed to be!

Happy damp Sunday
Unusual day yesterday to start off the day
and the H team and I met up for lunch!
she looks amazing as I hadn't seen her since late August.
She got to meet Diva.... and of course Diva was friendly to her
and tried to bite her too in play.
I somehow developed a UTI and while I had cranberry capsules
I needed antibiotics to clear it up.
This infection threw me for a loop.
Now I understand my behavior and and some unusual pain I
had for a day or so...
Fortunately my Dr's office had a clinic Sat and Sunday am.
It was preferable to wait there a few hours than sit an entire day in emerge.
Today is linen day and cleaning day and baking day.....
I think I prefer to head upstairs to bed and sleep.... but that will not get my
stuff done!

This Tuesday evening at sundown, Chanukah begins for 8 days.



In real life the main candle on the Menorah ( the candle holder)
which is the center one and often elevated, is lit first every day
and then another candle each day. Tuesday evening we light 2,
next day same 2, plus another and so on for 8 days.
Honey cake and potato pancakes (latkas) are part of the tradition.

My daughter reaps the benefits of both Christmas and Chanukah....

I am sure there several of you who are not familiar with this holiday
and or never heard of it...
