They shot the crossing six times, with the photographer on a stepladder in the middle of the street. They only had 15 minutes, with a police officer holding back traffic. The 28IF (or 281F ?) beetle belonged to a resident of the neighbourhood, who got tired of his licence plate being stolen and eventually sold the car. It is currently on display in a VW museum in Germany.

Hi Ya All!

Spent the afternoon feeding and playing with about 8 little cuties (not hard to do) Soooo cute I can still see them in my mind.

On a good note for the bigger unfortunates left behind, Dilly who had been there a long time found a home finally and Dover too the white 12 year old who was getting pretty depressed found his home - at long, long last!!!! Oh and Jazz a black and white who had something wrong and had to hop around like a bunny - he got out of there! yes, yes, yes!!!!
