Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

Someone got in trouble this afternoon - the short one decided it was ok to grab a treat from my fingers. Needless to say a torture session ensued (poor Quincy cat had to sit still beside the treat & wait a whole 5 minutes for permission to eat it - I am truly evil ). As an added bonus to my being entertained by the screaming serenade, Lily dog was extra gentle taking her treat.

Maybe I'll be trained one of these days & be a proper treat dispenser. Until then, this is what the poor creatures have to put up with.

Off to play with the brats.

I was never a Kiss fan either. They just never appealed to me in the least.

Hey Great Minds Think Alike or so They Say Karl!!! I also sent Shaun a thank you earlier today, around 1 or 2 p.m.! I told him we all enjoyed it, the bands were great, thanked him for bringing around the tickets and thanked the mighty Q for the great concerts there and the great contests, I figure your note went about the same!

It may sound silly but I've been daydreaming about how good those bands were and what fun last night was........I never seem to be able to accept when something is over

Vacation is over..... I could have used a few more days up north, but the weekend isn't too far away.....

It's amazing how at the beginning of the vacation, I was checking my blackberry every "few" minutes... I fired up the laptop a few times too and my phone only rang once.... by Friday, I think I checked my phone once at about 3:00 pm and ignored my 50 + emails.... I guess that's why it's called vacation...

My son's "birthday" week-end with his friends was a success.... a few of them cancelled, so there were only 10 plus us, so 14 total.... it got to be a bit crowded at times, but manageable....

I hope everyone had a great week... I'm going back to catch up!!!

as promised, here are some pics of the Blushing Brides. Dominik introduced them. the band is made up of guys from Ontario & Quebec. unlike the previous 2 bands, these guys had no "English" accents. "Mick" & "Keith" have been together for 32 years. the drummer is from a different band that will be openning for Saga this Friday.

this group also had a few extra people then the real Stones. there was a dude in the back that was doing all the percussion instruments & most of the lead guitar was done by the guitarist from Montreal instead of "Keith". he could play a mean axe.

don't know how true this is, but apparently the "original Kid Rock" was at the show, taking pics of the Brides on stage. this was the best shot that i got of him.
