    i've always done taken the tree down at New Years. the outside decorations are always done & on the 1st of december & the tree usually went up a few days before Christmas & came down at New Years. this weekend i have to work so i am now able to take it down then. the furballs like playing with the ornaments & the glitter from them was everywhere. now it's all cleaned up & furballs can play with their Christmas toys instead of ornaments.
    NASCAR SEASON is complete for 2021.

    Sounds like you had a good New Year's Eve Karl! I'm sure a lot of people have sore heads today (mine is a little sore as well! - just sayin'!) The DVD I enjoyed the most was Lynyrd Skynyrd playing in Texas - really good.

    WOW 4 TIMES NAPPING. I FEEL THE SAME. BUT TO HYPER TO RELAX ENOUGH. I GOT TO SLEEP IN THIS MORNING TIL 10 AM SO I WAS LUCKY. UNTIL THE KITTY'S STARTED HARASSING ME FOR THEIR BREAKIE.

    Thanks for the congrats on the pink heart and the reps that gave it to me!!! Those blue ones turned into a pink quickly!!!

    My decorations are "down" but not put away yet They're all in my dining room waiting to be packed up... We store them in the attic of the garage and it's a bit of an ordeal to get the bins down... I usually have them put away by now too, but with the jaunt to Niagara and a visit to hubby's cousin's this afternoon, we ran out of time... That is our goal for Saturday!!

    I try to leave the tree up until Ukrainian Christmas...
    ...or until 50 % of the needles have fallen off...
    My son put the tree up 4 or 5 days before christmas, I guess...

    We used to leave it up until Ukrainian Christmas (when we celebrated...) We haven't celebrated in years now, and I just find it easier to take everything down before we need to go back to work....

    What a bad Ukie I am...
