How happy am I - after a 14 hour day topped off with a board meeting...came home to a delicious dinner cooked by our son and his gf... words cannot express the smile in my heart...
enjoying a lovely glass of wine post dinner...to quote a Q family member - life is grand.

I spent half the day waiting for a tech to come and fix my communications problems (phone, cable & internet went kerplunk). On the plus side, I had lots of time to play with the critters.

Bit surprised Mum didn't post after we got in but we successfully found carpet we both liked, although it was only by pure luck the associates said that the swatch we were looking at was more than sufficient to do our 6.5 stairs. Congrats on the new heart and job Mmmme...mine looms closer and closer as we head toward the weekend and I'm scrambling to get as much done on my personal project before then as I can. Least for once I don't hate my dress code; jeans, sneakers and golf shirts, such comfort :D

tried to get my passport awhile ago but they said my birth certificate was to damaged so i went to get a replacement which of course takes 6-8 weeks. needless to say the who contest is not gonna happen

We had the same issue with hubby's birth certificate a few years ago before renewing his passport, and we were amazed how quickly it was replaced. I sent the damaged birth certificate directly to Sudbury by courier with a note stating that we were in a rush since we needed to rush a passport application. I can't remember exactly how quickly it was returned, but I remember it being very fast (days.....). I think the birth certificate applications take a lot longer than replacements.... give it a try!!
