Happy Caturday Q-sters,

Mum and I heading out today to HD to find some stain and ask about how many arms and legs getting the downstairs loo redone is gonna cost us. News on yesterday's 401 crash is that the whiteout conditions happened instantly and then apparently two tractor trailers collided in the westbound lanes; some tried to stop but couldn't and those that could were hit by those who couldn't. Only two with life threatening injuries and three with severe injuries out of the 80 vehicles, about 12-15 of which were tractor trailers and 100 ppl. Which, all things considered, could've been alot worse. Both West and Eastbound lanes have been reopened and the official report from the OPP will be a few days just because of the severity of the accident.

ALSO, for those of you who have been sick, you may want to know that it may have been the Sydney Norovirus that hails from Aussie. It's a stomach flu, meaning your stomach feels like its gonna die, you'll be down and out for about 3 days on average. Be advised there's no preventative measures for this one, it's a supervirus which means that it's highly contagious and can last on hard surfaces for weeks versus the normal 36-72 hours for flu bugs. Drink plenty of fluids and for the love of christmas stay home. You can go from perfectly fine to someone shoot me I'm dying in a matter of hours. The spike in the flu itself has been masking the Sydney Norovirus spread so no, it's not something new lol.

Looked outside to try & figure out how on earth I was going to shovel all that snow (we got about 8 inches) when I can hardly stand up, and saw that my neighbour had already done mine.
How lucky am I to have such wonderful people in my life.

Out all day downtown just got in a couple of hours ago. Snowy day but not that cold - comparatively speaking!!!!

A glass of port when down well with the puds by the fire (they didn't have the port I did!!)
