I can't really partake as I haven't been listening the last few days. I've been too busy looking into hotels, train fares, last minute trips etc - takes up a lot of time, some of it has been very frustrating waiting for call backs that never come....

I would like to relate a story from my wife’s family.

Nice story, & I'm so happy for your wife; an experience she'll never forget.

I went to Montreal once and had a similar experience. They refused to speak English to help me out.
I tried to use the few French words I knew, but they were horrible.
I've never been back, and never intend to again, so I can relate to her strong feelings.

not a problem in my backyard. it's big enough for lots of tents. i have a BBQ that i use & a pool too, but you have to bring your own floatie chair to lounge in & your own booze. i don't mind making the drinks & serving them

received an update on mum. she has an infection in her colon & the hospital has to do a colonosopy to determine exactly the nature. this will require an overnite stay, otherwise she is resting as comfortably as possible with IV fluids.
