I got "the call" early this afternoon that my dad passed away.... I know that he is in a better place and no longer suffering, frustrated - not being able to express himself, or in pain... He turned 89 last November, so he lived a long life, and it was a good life....

Lee that's rotten news for you and your family. I'm sorry for your loss. As you say your Dad had a long life and he is now relieved of his suffering and frustration. Take the time to heal now.

I spent most of the afternoon enjoying the warmer weather with the brats. Lily dog was quite insistant on speaking with a sparrow that kept chirping at her.

And tell your Mom that the jello is the best tasting thing they serve at the hospital. One hospital stay, I was served pancakes - my roommate packed them up to take home to her little terrier, since they were the perfect sized frisbees.
