The Bacon Tree


Two Mexicans are stuck in the desert after crossing into the United States , wandering aimlessly and starving. They are about to just lie down and await death when all of a sudden Luis says.........

"Hey Pepe, do you smell what I smell? Ees bacon, I theenk."

"Ees, Luis, eet sure smell like bacon."

With renewed hope they struggle up the next sand dune, and there, in the distance, is a tree loaded with bacon.

There's raw bacon, there's fried bacon, back bacon, double smoked bacon ... Every imaginable kind of cured pork.

"Pepe, Pepe, wees saved! Ees a bacon tree!"

"Luis, maybe ees a meerage? Wees in the desert don't forget."

"Pepe, since when deed you ever hear of a meerage that smell like bacon...ees no meerage, ees a bacon tree!"

And with that, Luis staggers towards the tree. He gets to within 10 yards, Pepe crawling close behind, when suddenly a machine gun opens up, and Luis drops like a wet sock. Mortally wounded, he warns Pepe with his dying breath....

"Pepe... Go back, man, you was right, ees not a bacon tree!"

"Luis, Luis mi amigo... what ees it? "

"Pepe.. ees not a bacon tree. Ees....


Ees.....

Ees....



Ees....

Ees...


Ees....




Ees..... a ham bush...."

Happy Pi Day Q sters,
well not a good start to the day. got to work & found out the furnace is busticated. out came the space heaters, the coats stayed on, good thing i have mitts that flip back so i can type. the furnace guy just got it going now, so hopefully it won't be too long before it warms up. poor rodent's car wouldn't start this morning. i had already left for work, so CAA had to tow it to the shop. not sure if she's at work yet, haven't heard. from the sounds of it, either the starter or the fusible links to it are busticated. she had lights, radio & power, but all it did was "click" when you turned the key to the start position. oh well, such it life. will wait to hear from our tech to see if i'm right.

Thank you 22!! Sounds about right I promise to take full advantage of the scenery, beach and the cocktails - I never let an All Inclusive vacation go to waste!!! That just wouldn't be right would it? I will have one for each and every one of you!!!
