Last evening my Dad called to tease me that he could hear the brats crying for food all he way to Scarboro from downtown (his usual teasing), an hour later he was in ICU, with massive bleeding. Drs think it's stomach cancer, he's not stable enough to do any testing. I'll be MIA until things get settled. I'm really really freaked out right now, got a good friend staying with me and my Mom. Can't understand how things went south so very quickly. Will be in touch.

I was invited out for dinner tonight and enjoyed a great evening out with our really good "cottage" friends..... what a nice treat for my last night at the boat this summer (Yes, I know it's fall.... )
