...so the next time that any of us makes a cup of tea, there will be unexplained hysterics...

........and then there's this: Two elderly men were eating breakfast in a restaurant one morning. Stanley noticed something funny about Joe's ear. He said, "Joe did you know you've got a suppository in your left ear?"

"I have? A suppository?" exclaimed Joe. He pulled it out and stared at it. Then he said, "Stanley, I'm glad you saw this thing. Now I think I know where my hearing aid is."

One must be careful of the “obvious”!!!!! It is so easy to jump to conclusions.
This carwash is in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.
It's the Petro Can up by the Fredericton Mall, Prospect Street.
A true story!
Bill owns a company that manufactures and installs car wash systems.
Bill's company installed a car wash system in Fredericton, NB.
These are complete money changer and money-taking machines.

The problem started when the owner complained to Bill that he was losing
significant amounts of money from his coin machines each week.
He accused Bill's employees of having a key to the boxes and ripping him off.
Bill just couldn't believe that his people would do that.
So they set up a camera to catch the thief in action.
Well, they did catch him on film.





That's a bird (Starling) sitting on the change slot of the machine.
The bird had to go down into the machine, and back up inside to get to the money!


That's three quarters he has in his beak!
Another amazing thing is that it was not just one bird.
There were several working together.
Once they identified the thieves, they found over $4,000 in quarters
on the roof of the car wash, and more under a nearby tree.



And you thought you had heard of everything by now!!!

1957 Sandwich Menu from Woolworths.... If anyone doubts what we paid for a coke and a sandwich at Woolworths in the 1950s, here's proof of the era we lived in. I wondered who to send this to - who would actually remember eating at a Woolworth's. Isn't it fun just to receive an e-mail that doesn't make you crazy but just brings back good memories? For those of you who are too young to remember. Too bad. Can you believe it was in ENGLISH ONLY!

Good afternoon and thank you all so much for the kind words. Seem to be getting better each day. Today I ate lunch and did not have to hold up my lip. The smile is still a little lame.
Spartacus – my deepest condolence to you and your friends on the loss of Kim. Very tragic!!
Jester – some great pictures. For the last few months I have been scanning my parent old pictures and some are great some are creepy.
