As long as I don't have to disclose the content of what the notes I sent to Mechman contain, I'll be OK.
- Thank you to Lobster for our physics lesson.
- Karl please say hello to CRN. Tell him he is missed by us.
- Good luck Andi. Bundle up my dear.
- I like the poem that Jester shared with us. Good advice for us all.

This was just posted to facebook, hope it helps cute little TJ get a home! Every week when I go in I hope he has found a home and yesterday they decided to put him up on facebook because it helps .......he just sits in his little bed staring out at everyone with a forelorn look on his face.........breaks my heart!

TJ is still waiting for his forever home!
This wonderful little guy came to us a stray in September and although he's safe and warm now, he's still looking for a home to call his own.
TJ is FIV+, likely having contracted it as a result of living on the streets and having to fend for himself. TJ loves the attention of volunteers (pictured here with Evelyn) and always greets them eagerly with his unique little 'meow'. He loves head rubs, under chin scratches and just simply hanging out with the volunteers.
TJ is an all around great guy and he will surely make some lucky person a loving companion for years to come!
For more info on TJ, please email [email protected]
Please share our post and help us find this deserving boy his forever home. Thank you!

We get a little more mellow as those decades close in,
I guess we kinda know what is & we know who has been,
We know it isn't polite to point our fingers,
& when we learn from the past the experience lingers,
Sometimes it is best to take a comforting rest,
& try to file away thoughts that are making you stressed,
Don't give it a thought if your taps are leaky,
Call in a plumber, even one that is cheeky,
All I can say now is please have a nice day,
I'll see you all soon in the Smart Canucks Cafe.
xx

wow!
first Target announces it's closing stores in canada and now sony

Why Target waived the white flag in Canada?
Target waited 19 years after Wal-Mart’s Canadian arrival to make its first test of an offshore market in Canada. Given that, you would think Target had learned from observation how to get Canada right.

Sony closing all 14 stores in Canada
The closures come within a wider struggle for Sony’s TV and mobile phone operations. The company decline to comment on number of jobs affected.

Psychiatry students were in their Emotional Extremes class. "Let's set some parameters," the professor said. "What's the opposite of joy?" he asked one student. "Sadness" he answered.
"The opposite of depression?| he asked another student. "Elation" he replied.
"The opposite of woe? the prof asked a young woman from out West. She resplied "Sir, I believe that would be giddy-up"
There's a new cop drama on TV that's set in Alaska. I bet the police never yell "Freeze"!!
