Had a nice afternoon at the spa! Used a certificate my daughter gave me at Christmas time. It runs out this weekend so needed to use it up. Had a massage, pedicure and facial. Quite well done and relaxing! We have another to use for dinner in Yorkville this weekend, she bought a groupon so we could go out for dinner down there and walk around before hand. Looks like a nice weekend for it.

Thanx for the thoughts & prayers. my brother is resting as comfortably as possible. they couldn't remove any of the tumour as it was entwined in the vocal cords & esophagus, so they had to put the trachea back in so he can breathe. the doctors are going to try an experimental type of drug that is suppose to shrink the tumour. they started that today. hopefully it will help shrink it so the trachea can be removed again.
when i went to leave work tonight, got in my car & it wouldn't start. no lights, no click, nada. tried boosting it & it would start momentarily, but die just as quickly. had to put a new battery in to get home tonight. at least it happened at work, instead of it dying on the way home or some place in the middle of no where.
