Good morning, everyone.
Anyone else feel like time is just racing past? I swear, I wake up, make everyone breakfast, take both brats for walks, and the next thing I know, it's time for bed. I honestly don't know where April went.
bff's Dad is still in hospital (I was hoping he'd be home by now). They think there might be some sort of infection/inflamation in his intestine. They're holding off on doing a scope (to check for a tumour), since they gave him blood thinners when he first went into the hospital. bff is going home to see him on Friday, unfortunately I have a previous commitment, so I can't go with her. Since he's awake & walking around, I'm hoping she'll be seeing him at home.
Off to pick up the package the parcel postman didn't bother delivering (found out yesterday that 2 other neighbours had the same issue ). At least I'll get in a little exercise.
Better go cuddle with the brats before I run off - one month from today, I'm off on my big trip that I was supposed to take last year. The short one will be sooo angry with me when I get back.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

More evidence the world's gone mad......
(Virgin on the ridiculous)
Girls at Islamic Al-Taqwa College banned from running over virginity fears, teacher claims

Claims that girls at a Melbourne Islamic college have been banned from running due to concerns it may cause them to lose their virginity are being investigated by the Victorian schools regulator.
Fairfax Media is reporting the principal of Al-Taqwa College, Omar Hallak, has stopped girls from competing in sporting events because potential injuries could also make them infertile.
The school in Truganina, in Melbourne's outer-west, takes male and female students from Prep to Year 12, and also has campuses at Tarneit and in Indonesia.
Fairfax said the issue was raised by a former teacher in a letter to both federal and state education ministers, which said Mr Hallak prevented the primary school's girls cross-country team taking part in a district event.
"The principal holds beliefs that if females run excessively, they may 'lose their virginity'," the letter said.
"The principal believes that there is scientific evidence to indicate that if girls injure themselves, such as break their leg while playing soccer, it could render them infertile."
Education Minister James Merlino said he was not aware of receiving the letter, but has referred the claim to the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA) to investigate.
"If these claims are true they would be very concerning," Mr Merlino said.
"There are minimum standards that schools must meet, including governance minimum standards.
"I've asked the VRQA to investigate to determine whether these reports are true and, if they are, to report back to me and [state] what further action could be taken."
Mr Hallak denied the allegations in a statement and said girls were "encouraged to participate in all activities" subject to parental consent.
"We do not believe that running excessively may cause female students to lose their virginity or that sporting injuries could render them infertile," the statement to The Age newspaper said.
The statement did not directly address claims that girls from the college's primary school had been blocked from taking part in some district events.
The secretary of the Islamic Council of Victoria, Ghaith Krayem, said he doubted the accusations were true.
"I thought this was a joke when I first read it, and I'm hoping it is a joke," he said.
"I doubt very much that any teacher or principal would say that; I think we all understand biology a little bit better than that.
"I haven't spoken to them, but I am going to give them a call and just touch base to see if there is any possibility of truth to that."
