I am feeling a bit under the weather today, as I am beginning a new cycle of treatment this week. It cure can take every ounce of energy to deal with it. The cool thing is that it seems to be doing its job, in that I have some shrinkage in some some tumours.

I feel that I need to keep on fighting & trying.

Lee: one of my favorite is Banana Cream Pie
INGREDIENTSNutrition
SERVINGS 8UNITS US

• 1(9 inch) pie crusts, baked
• 3cups whole milk
• ³⁄₄cupwhite sugar
• ¹⁄₃cupall-purpose flour
• ¹⁄₄teaspoonsalt
• 3egg yolks, slightly beaten
• 2tablespoonsbutter
• 1teaspoonvanilla

• 3bananas

DIRECTIONS
1. Have baked 9-inch pie shell ready.
2. In a large saucepan, scald the milk.
3. In another saucepan, combine the sugar, flour and salt; gradually stir in the scalded milk.
4. Over medium heat, stirring constantly, cook until thickened.
5. Cover and, stirring occasionally, cook for two minutes longer.
6. In a small bowl, have the 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten, ready; stir a small amount of the hot mixture into beaten yolks; when thoroughly combined, stir yolks into hot mixture.
7. Cook for one minute longer, stirring constantly.
8. Remove from heat and blend in the butter and vanilla.
9. Let sit until lukewarm.
10. When ready to pour, slice bananas and scatter in pie shell; pour warm mixture over bananas.
11. If desired, make a meringue (you'll have 3 leftover egg whites) to top the pie, or just let the pie cool until serving.

sorry for jumping in but saw that person:

for those who didn't see my post about this, someone walked
across the driveway (and maybe more) pulling a dog on a leash,
who was lying down, and i yelled out something like
'do you want to be turned into animal control?'
poor dog was now walking - and the person did some peacock thingy
with the arms up up the crescent, whilst staring at me.
today saw them again, no dragging but pushing the dog along with a shoe,
been trying to 'turn' the person in but have no info about where they live etc.
going to see what i can do - hoping i don't go after the idiot in person.

calling ontario spca now, and finding out how services can help.
with no info they can't - damn
