Last month, a world-wide telephone survey was conducted by the UN. The only question asked was:-






"Would you please give your honest opinion about possible solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world.



The survey was a complete failure because:


In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant.


In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant.



In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant.


In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant.



In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant.



In South America and Russia they didn't know what "please" meant.

In the USA they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant.



And in Australia , New Zealand , Canada and Britain



everyone hung up as soon as they heard the Indian accent !

Well good morning. I had a long day at the hospital yesterday & we can leave it at that. Left the house at 7:00am & didn't get home until 5:30. MY back is very annoyed with me today.

Still am going to continue in the same treatment.

I'm feeling alright today. So far, so good.

Time for a cuppa coffee.

Good afternoon, everyone.

Critters and I are really really enjoying the heat (the brats lie in the sun until they pant so hard they can't nap, then they lie on the cool hallway floor for 2 minutes, then they go back to the sunshine to bake). I think we're the only ones who don't have the AC on.

Had some babysitting duties that have kept me busy this week (critters are lonely cause their humans are trying to cram in as much summer as they can now that the heat is here).

Can't seem to find motivation to do things around here. I think Lily dog is sending me subliminal messages while I sleep about the importance of playtime.

Speaking of which, a certain someone is squeaking her toy at me. Better go play.

Hi All!

Rode my bike to the THS today. Got these two cuties outside for an hour of playtime. Nice kitties! A guy just about adopted them but his roommate only wanted one cat not two!!! Darn, oh well I'm sure they will get a home soon, they don't get separated if they are bonded and these two are!!!



Gotta run off to play a game...............
