It was only partly cloudy around 8:30 but now it's mostly cloudy so I doubt we will be able to see it.Darned we were looking forward to it.

I was too.... I took this pic from the hot tub last night and was so looking forward to watching the eclipse from the hot tub tonight... grrrr clouds...

it was too cloudy to see a darn thing. what a shame! the past two nights had been so perfectly clear.

Too bad about the lunar eclipse. Was able to partially see some of it, but it was very cloudy. Not like Caturday night with the moon in the background of the bonfire.

Stargazers in the GTA were in for a two-for-one treat Sunday night with the rare confluence of a total lunar eclipse and supermoon, except the clouds made for less-than-perfect picture-taking opportunities. Mars mystery solved? -- That’s the tweet NASA sent out this weekend, saying it has big news for us today. A news conference will be held around 11:30am and many are speculating that NASA may have found water on the red planet.

Voters Favour Key Social Issues But Not Long Gun Registry

Marijuana, prostitution and fire arms – sounds like a Charlie Sheen party, but all three are actually the focus of the latest Forum poll out this morning, highlighting some of the key social issues for voters. The poll found more than half of Canadian voters want to see pot legalized with 54% support and 49% in favour of legalizing prostitution. However, the long gun registry had just 4-in-10 voters wanting it back in operation, with 44% against the idea.
