Edmonton police say pizza place was delivering liquor, beer in pie boxes

Various types of alcoholic beverages are shown from a seizure at a pizza shop in Edmonton in this police handout photo. Edmonton Police obtained a search warrant and seized a total of 240 cans of beer, and 100 bottles of various spirits at the establishment inside pizza boxes, in pre-packaged brown paper bags and inside delivery vehicles.

I am trying to restore an old laptop. Quite the struggle.

Slowed down some today!
1. Water Heater ceased to heat.
2. Furnace joined in.
3. Jays

Not talking about the Jays just now, but we have hot water.

As for heat, I know the part I need, but Lennox will be a pain.
Hoping to source the part through someone in the trade.
What should be $50 will be $200 for sure. It will soon turn into $500 or more if I have to call a service company.

But I did finally manage to get the laptop to take the Windows 7, Service Pack 1 update!
It only took 3 days! Running again over night tonight, fingers crossed!

I have no prediction for the Jays, just hopes.
As for the computer, I am sure we will see Spartacus soon!

There's an old sea story about a ship's Captain who inspected his sailors, and afterwards told the first mate that his men smelled bad. The Captain suggested perhaps it would help if the sailors would change underwear occasionally.

He continued, "Pittman, you change with Jones, McCarthy, you change with Witkowski, and Brown, you change with Schultz."

THE MORAL OF THE STORY:

Someone may come along and promise "Change", but don't count on things smelling any better.
