I am afraid that I missed it...
Yesterday was the 1st Time in Years that I took a Sick Day.
My Back was so sore that it was Difficult to Move, so I Stayed in Bed.

Went to the Doc and got some Meds... the Non-Narcotic Variety.
Anti-Inflammatories with Pain Blockers and they actually seem to Help.
I am Nervous that I will Move the Wrong Way, so I am being Extra Cautious.
Little Ol' Ladies in Walkers are Passing me in the Street... giving me the Finger to Boot!!

Duran Duran & the New Order playing on Q. I think they went a bit too far.

Bringing back some of this music is ok, but I had to google New Order, never heard of them. I was listening to the 80's Hair bands at the time, so must have missed some of this stuff.
They are getting into playing other forgotten cuts from the regular crowd.

I agree with you on the bands Ken, I too am a fan, but is Q staying a Classic Rock Station or are they changing to the Jack format. Time, like everything, will tell!

Mechman - you've got me thinking about Jackson Browne now. Hmmm.

My eldest grandson just had a cast put on his left wrist yesterday. He fractured it snowboarding. The poor guy will be stuck in a cast for 4 - 6 weeks. It's going to be hard for him to keep a low profile; he's a very active kid. Just in time for the March break too! The poor guy is going to have to adjust to life with a cast.

I am very ready for my week off. I'll be able to enjoy eating again! Looking forward to not feeling so tired. I'm still defying the odds & I'll take that anytime.

Yes back in the 80s I was also listening to hair bands, and 60s & 70s rock and roll. But the girls were listening to New Order and Duran Duran, so If I wanted to get lucky, I had to get to know the music that the girls liked.

On the flip side, I was going out with a girl who we were right into Def Leppard at the time. As our relationship went on, she started turning punk rock on me. Her air turned green and she put a safety pin through her nose. I didn't know the music that she was starting to listen to, bands like The Cure and The Smiths. I know they were more alternative than punk. Anyhow we broke up shortly after that.
