I need some coupon HELP

I just came across a thread that said purex is on sale at safeway buy 1 get 1 free, which i did not know because i didnt get a safeway flyer this week and today is the last day of the sale.
I was wondering can i use a coupon on each bottle even though one is free, and if so do i scan my coupons then my club card???

Couponing is kind of confusing, its gonna take a while to get the hang of things!

you might be able to use a coupon for both, it all depends on how they ring up

say the purex is $4.99 with the b1g1 sale.

if one comes up as $0.01 and the other one rings up as $4.98, then you can't

but if one rings up at $2.49 and the other at $2.50 than you can use a coupon on each item

I was not allowed to use my B1G1 windex coupons when they had it B1G1...but they did allow me to use my $5 off when it was B1G1 Tide!!! good luck!!!!
