I was at Old Navy last night picking up a couple things (flip flops on sale form $7.50 to $3.00 + I had 15% off from the purchase )

anyways I was at the cash and we were waiting a bit because one of the flip flops didn't have a price tag on them so while the cashier was getting another pair I noticed this tiny note written on a small yellow sheet of paper that said:

"If your cashier doesn't ask for your email address please inform them and ask for a manager who will give you a $5 complementary GC"

I guess our cashier was distracted from having to go and get the other pair of flip flops (poor girl) but I asked her about it and she said "oh ya," and I said "you didn't ask us for our email" and she was like ya i did, i said no you didn't because i always give it (at some stores I've been told that the more you give your email the better the coupons you'll get *cough*cough*BBW) and so she called the manager - who took 15 minutes to come down & then leave and then come back - probably trying to get us to give up but it was a Thursday night & we were in no rush!

ANYWAYS - keep an eye out because as we all know they WANT our emails & this is a great way for us to make out when they make a mistake * I did feel bad for the girl at cash but before she called her manager, I asked if she'd get in trouble, she said no so there you go!
