    I'd be interested in joining a package train sometime in the future, however I'm worried about the shipping costs. My mom mailed a package at Christmas and it was $30+ just to mail the package. (It wasn't really that heavy either)

    How do you all keep shipping costs down?

    Honestly I can say it all depends on your buddy's wishlist and what you put in the package

    The most I have ever paid for shipping was $22 and that was because it was the christmas advent pkg train so 25 gifts in the box

    Average for myself and I have sent from BC to Nova Scotia is usually under $20 but I also don't just send the 6 required items

    Christmas time I think they hike the prices

    and if you use a venture one card it reduces the cost plus gives tiy free insurance and free tracking number !

    I got one too. its awesome.. i try to make sure that the gifts im buying are lightweight.. and only add a few heavier items off their WL if necessary. never paid more than $20 i think.
