Maybe it's out of money and has to be reloaded?

    Congratulations Deb!

I was in an uncomfortable situalion today and I don't know if I handled it correctly or not. After swimming today, people were showering there kids and I wanted to walk through without getting wet so I asked if they could leave the shower off for a second. A lady let me pass but turned it on when Rebmac was under it and it got her towel wet. Reb was SO angry that she turned quickly and instead of using words growed loudly like a hurt wild animal. I was shocked and so was the lady. I yelled "Beba!" (my nickname for Rebmac) the lady appologied for turning on the water. But then she was still talking about my daughter's outburst after we left. It's times like these that I don't know if I need to explain to a stranger that my daughter's mildly autistic or just walk away like I did.
Its hard to say karmac what to do. I think it depends on the situation and if someone is being really rude or not. You don't really "owe" anyone anything if they are being rude to you or Rebmac. And I guess it depends what Rebmac as done. I guess that's not much help, but it must be hard on you at times.

Your pizza must be pretty tasty! Enjoy Mother's Day!

Walk away is the best thing to do because even if you explain they would still probably talk anyway so save yourself some grief and keep on a waling knowing why your daughter did what she did. Some people arent worth wasting time with or on.

An elderly woman bought a parrot.

The woman asked if it would behave if she took it to church with her on Sundays.

The owner said it shouldn't be a problem, that she could put him on her shoulder and he would stay there.

She bought the parrot, and the next week she put him on her shoulder and went off to church.

Just as everyone quieted down and the sermon began, the parrot looked around, squawked and said, "It's goddamned cold in here!"

Everyone turned to look at her, she ran out of the church in total embarrassment!

The next day, she returned to the pet store and explained the embarrassing situation to the owner.

The owner offered the following solution, "If the parrot does that again, grab him by the legs and swing him around 5 times and return him to your shoulder.

So, the next Sunday she took the parrot to church and sure enough, just as the sermon started, the parrot squawked, "It's goddamned cold in here!"

Without any hesitation, the woman grabbed his legs, swung him around 5 times, and placed him back on her shoulder.

The parrot shook his head, ruffled his feathers and said, "Pretty flipping(edited from original for those that dont like swearing) windy, too!"

Australian Prime Minister does it again!!

This man should be appointed King of the World. Truer words have never been spoken.

It took a lot of courage for this man to speak what he had to say for the world to hear. The retribution could be phenomenal, but at least he was willing to take a stand on his and Australia 's beliefs. No one in the UK has the bottle.

Whole worldNeeds A Leader Like This!

&nb! sp; Prime Minister Kevin Rudd - Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks..

Separately, Rudd angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation' mosques. Quote:'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. '

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded the nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our , Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, WE will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

If you agree please SEND THIS ONand ON to as many people as you know

Well, I am not quite as tolerant as some of the others. Maybe the "lady" needed a turn under the shower.
