In Loocie’s house this is not the case as the cooks are still in their beds,<o:p></o:p>
The boys were beerin’ & hockeyin’ last night & may have achin’ heads,<o:p></o:p>
I’ve been a Mom for 25 years & wonder how it went by so fast,<o:p></o:p>
I’m reflecting on how the day to day stuff become memories from the past,<o:p></o:p>
The cards they made, the cups of tea & breakfast served on a tray,<o:p></o:p>
Coming down to the kitchen to be welcomed by a floral bouquet,<o:p></o:p>
The little things your kids do for you remind you motherhood is a perk!<o:p></o:p>
In spite of all the times beyond frustration & you were going berserk,<o:p></o:p>
Many of us have lost our own Mom’s & reflect on what all they gave,<o:p></o:p>
& now know they were on the money when they told us to behave,<o:p></o:p>
If you’re a new Mom I can tell you that it is a pretty good gig indeed,<o:p></o:p>
& just let your kids really believe that you’re not up to speed,<o:p></o:p>
Once you’ve become a Mom your intuition switch is in the ON mode,<o:p></o:p>
But all us Moms know that motherhood is a most rewarding road,<o:p></o:p>
Happy Mother’s Day ladies enjoy your day, time for a motherly review,<o:p></o:p>
& if they have forgotten what today is, then it’s the guilt trip for all of you!<o:p></o:p>
