I had no luck today at CT trying to use the last of my tide coupies and to get in on the charmin deal - sold out. Now to be fair, last day I know I have been unwell and unable until today but a gals gotta try right?!
anyways, had a few little stacks to do at LD so thought id just Pm there and use my coupies and away id go......NOT SO!
Went to London Towne as I thought they were one of the 'easier' locations. I wasnt looking to do anything even that required a soft interpretation of coupons or anything, just looking to PM. I asked upon arrival if theyd like me to PM and coupon at CS or at the till (they werent busy) and they said CS so I went about my shopping or so i thought.
I picked up a quantumatic, even tho id rather go to walmart and get the overage because i wanted to save myself the trip. I had three kids with me today and walmart sounds like no fun like that. anyways, knew Id have to pay a bit for it cause thought they would accept printable up to $5....NOPE $3 apparently so ill leave that thank you very much. The gal was very nice, as was I - nope, ill keep my coupon and eventually get around to using it for full value. Proceeded to find the 38load tide and PM to CT for the save 5WUB 2. Lots of others have been PMing two of each item so thought that would happen but nope, only one and the regular price was 8.99 so no thank-you, no deal there if they PM the first but not the 2nd at THAT price. so that goes back. But I DID get to PM the Charmin and got a little stack from it - its the ones with the P&G coups in it. However, she read it over and over and over - Good grief whats the big deal they were the same. guess covering her bases but ugh. Couldve been a great trip, ended up only ok Better luck next time

I always go to the London Towne LD and have never had any problems. In fact, I was even there today and had a great experience. My husband came with me for the first time and was impressed by how easy it was to stack.

The staff there is always so nice and have even thanked me for being organized with price matches and my stacks of coupons.

The shopping with 3 kids must not have been fun and must have just added to your frustration.

I know save, that's what was sooo frustrating, I know it's reputation for ease. Despite my kids in tow, I was uber organized.....all pms and coupons with each product. I've never stacked before that and only had little ones due to only a few coups. That was easy I thought too. I had 'wendy' at cs so maybe avoid her. Like I said, she was super nice, just wouldn't pm more than one even tho I know people do it all the time :/

Sorry your LD shopping experience didn't go well . That location is really great but a few things that are fairly constant (sometimes an exception but I always go expecting the constant) are that printables are only redeemed up to $3 and they are only required to PM one item at competitors price. The Heritage location will PM one and then check to see what their lowest sale price was and PM additional at that price. This way they can give you a lower price but at a price that they are not losing money on. If I am hoping to PM more than one of something I will go to Heritage (even though it is farther away) and ask at customer service before I do my shopping so that I know what price they can give me on the extras I want. You can also determine at this time the quantity that they will allow you at the lower price.
