I think the Flyer distributors are taking the coupons?

I seem to notice that sometimes, my newspapers don't carry the scheduled coupon inserts. For example, last week.. the CDN scratch cards was no where to be found in my newspaper or my neighbours.. i get coupons from friends and family and a couple of them don't get it either.. I dont know if it's just me but I noticed that on my recycle walks after the weekend the inserts have been distributed, some streets don't get the inserts and some streets do.

I feel like some flyer people just don't bother to put the inserts at all for their own keeps. Maybe its just me? The street across me don't seem to get it however the one beside it does. I called the local newspaper once about flyer distribution and asked why i didnt receive my coupons.. they never got back to me lol. Bummer.

Same thing here. We didn't even get our flyers last week. I'm sure that the person who delivers them didn't deliver so they could keep the tear cards. I was so upset, I never got one.

Not here, that I know. Each week we get a free paper with a bunch of inserts for local stores, CT, SD, Metro, etc. Most weeks, we don't get ours until after the weekend, usually the following Monday or Tuesday. But, whenever there is something special, like the CT tear cards, we don't get anything at all. I called last week and complained, so we'll see if it comes today like it's supposed to

Even though every area gets a insert with the flyers, only certain areas get the coupons. Where I am I get a weekly bag with the flyers but never get the coupons. If I go fir a walk and walk 10 min I am in a different flyer area and they get the coupons. My husband use to deliver the flyers and asked why the ones he delivered were heavier then the ones we were receiving and it was explained that companies only give a certain amount of the coupon inserts and that they are delivered to different areas based on population etc. I could walk to the office warehouse where they hold the flyers but apparently I'm not in the area for the coupons.

Call & Complain. we recieve Free Newspapers here in Mississauga, Wed., Thurs. & Friday. at one point I was ready to Call, & kind of feel Stupid calling about a Free Paper. When They actually Called me in regards to delivery. I Think they now have a New Person as it Now comes regularly & in the Mail Box, not thrown on the veranda. I also seem to get the Flyers etc that I should be getting. Complain.......Scottie

I am just outside of Halifax, I live in a mobile home park and my friend 3 streets over got the P&G and Red Plum yesterday in her flyers and I did not, nor did the person just across the street from her. Nice...I have a call in to my paper but it's frustrating and I know we can order the coupons online but can't depend on the mail.....grr, you're not alone people!

My parents live in the H section of Bramalea and lately I have been noticing the same thing. I go over there to steal their papers/flyers for the week (I live in a condo and don't get the inserts and hardly any flyers) and for the past few inserts there have been none.

I have even asked some neighbours and friends that live in the same area and they too have not gotten any, but people who live in another area have gotten it.

Very frustrating to say the least.

I have the same problem here. One corner store owner has a sister and daughter who do coupons. I used to pick up a couple extra copies of the free local paper with the coupons in them but now there is never any, but funny the rest of the town has it in their free papers! Literally, the store next door has it in theirs. I will be reporting him.

Yes, what others have said. Complain. I was getting my flyers sporadically and then I had nothing for approximately three months or more. I finally tracked down who to contact in my area (thanks to a SC post!) and called them up. Ever since the call was made, my flyers arrive each Friday again. I have noticed that very few homes where I am, seem to get them. Thankfully we are in a position to be able to reach most folks in our neighbourhood with info and I am going to ensure everyone has the appropriate number to deal with the issue.

My flyers only come once every three weeks. The other times they appear on the other side of the street, but not mine. I was especially upset last time since I missed out on the CT scratch cards and some real good price matching deals. :/

Not to say that your deliverer isn't taking your coupons. I believe that does happen but at least in my area the newspapers don't get all the inserts on all the routes. I wrote to the paper and asked and was told that some routes don't get all the inserts and it changes. She said that the company putting out the inserts decides who will get the inserts and who won't. last week I checked and nobody that I know of got the Canadian tire ad for the entire paper on several different routes. I think that sometimes the flyers don't get printed early enough to be inserted in the papers.
