$.79 hamberger helper brag

I took a friend shopping today, she doesn't use coupons...
We hit Freshco in Kingston.
Hamberger helper= $1.79 (made sure we both stocked up only on boxes that had more coupons)
2lb hamberger tube= $2.
used $3 coupon for the hamberger
Paid $.79 for each set! I scored 5 and she tried 1. I sat in the parkinglot clipping off the coupons, I wanted so bad to grab a few more, so I'll try it again in Belleville.

I wish I would have known the hamburger helper was on for `1.79 there I was out that way at wal-mart paying $2 with the coupon subtracted lol

Well, I went to Belleville's Freshco, and their 2lb hamberger tube was $3.99. I asked why the price was so high, and it took forever to find out it may have been a "manager's special". Hmm, no signage in Kingston to say such a thing. And they wouldn't match the price even though I had a reciept from earlier today showing the purchas. The store also had a prob getting any of my questions answered, no management was going to speak to me as he had left. Then they over charged me on the box of hamberger helper. At least I didn't have to tell them about SCOP, I got 1 free, and re-embursed the difference.
I think I'll be writing a note to Freshco tonight. I drove all the way from Trenton to get this deal, and left disappointed.
