Productive Coupon Evening

So tomorrow is compost pickup so there was a lot of papers floating around, so I decided to give the "recycling walk" a shot. I think I did pretty well for myself and now have no idea how to organise my coupons.

4 P&G Brandsaver inserts
8 (or 9) Redplum inserts
2 Smartsource inserts
1 Clip N Save.

If anyone needs any of the baby products or hair dye let me know.

I'm sure my neighbours think I am weird if they saw me (which, it sure felt like I was being watched), but it was alright after I got over my initial embarrassment. Not like I was digging in actual garbage.

How do you go about getting the thrown out flyers - I'm not about to start opening peoples grocery bags full of paper & personal mail, etc. (despite being thrown to the curb). Is there an easier way???

I just went for it... I live in a townhouse condo complex so everyone is pretty close by and I just ignored all the personal info. I am thinking of just asking my neighbours I know to keep them for me though so I don't necessarily have to do this in the future

When I do my recycle walks I don't dig in green bins or bags normally, Half the time people don't even open the flyer packs and just throw them to the curb so I just grab the whole flyer pack throw it in a bag and take them all home, When I get home that's when I dig through all the flyers, bagged them back out and go put them at my curb to recycle. It works well because your not standing in front of each persons home "digging" in the trash lol I don't want people to think I'm looking for personal information and call the cops or something.. that would be embarassing!

That's how I did it too. Just grabbed the bags (of just papers) and brought them home, dug for the flyers and then put them back out all organized. No green bins or garbage bags.
