Such good news. My shoppers drug mart has always been great with me using coupons. The cashiers have got to know me now. I hardly buy a product without a coupon. So this news would make me a very happy shopper.

This really has me giggling. My shoppers is sooooo hard to even use 1 coupon at let alone stack. In BC we have so many options to stack and are very lucky. Will I stack there noooooo but just maybe they will get better about accepting 1 coupon and then just maybe I will go back one day!

Its weird when the P & G cpns didn't have any restrictions ( wording ) on them stores like SDM weren't stacking ...but now that the P & G cpns have a restricyive wording on them like " Use of more than 1 Manufacturer cpn per product is strictly prohibited " ..all of sudden stores like SDM want to stack .
Now stores want stacking but cpn manufacturer's like P & G don't want stacking

That's probably never going to happen in Ontario, seeing that the cashiers never except my coupons!

My shoppers is totally cool with coupons, though I am sure they cringe a little inside when I walk through those double doors....stacking would be awesome, so I hope they do, but its so hard to stack these days. L.D. gave me a hard time today and normally they never do. Crackin the whip!

Can't wait to hear more about it! I am betting that if they start doing it, it's because they feel they are losing business to LD. I don't shop at SDM very much at all, but would definately start if they started stacking.

Not to be a Negative Nelly here, but SDM just spend 6+months developping a national coupon policy, so I really really doubt this is happening. Someone over in the SDM thread works there and peaked at the policy and said that it states 1 coupon per item.

Where did you hear this?? I work for SDM in BC and haven't heard anything about it. Actually one of the supervisors i work with and I were talking about this and she said that they called about stacking and the companies said that it is illegal to do this and that SDM would never be doing it. This was about a week ago.
