Thread: Limit of 6 at Walmart?
-

Was in White Oaks Walmart today and was told that they have a new rule of limit of 6 identical items when using coupons. Is that true? By the way manager in White Oaks is quite an unpleasant lady

I wish I would write down her name Maybe next time I see her I will make sure to remember it. Honestly I am not as upset about the 6 item limit, even if she made that up. I care when I am treated as a criminal. What envy does to people....

she is probably miserable b/c she hates her job. I think if there is no policy that the manager cannot just make crap up. There should be no limit until the policy is in writing. Sorry to hear it was an unpleasant experience. Just remember what karma is. thats why you should always be pleasant!!

I don't know why Walmart Canada is taking so long "Revamping" their coupon policy. I think they do have one as at my local one the cashier said she was given a sheet outlining internet coupons etc. Why don't they just publicly acknowledge the same new policy as in the U.S.? BTW. in the U.S. a lot of the coupons say "No more than 4 like coupons in one transaction. There again, you just split your purchases in to more than one transaction!

At the bottom of their Coupon Policy it does state that the store has the right to put a limit on the number of items purchased. I was at WM Argyle yesterday and had no problems, in fact the cashier (who was fabulous) showed me the updated policy which is at all the cashouts. That Manager must have been having an "off" day.

I live really close to the Hyde Park Walmart, and always have good experiences there. My family lives down in the south end and every time I have used coupons at the White Oaks Walmart, it has been a hassle, or issues and just never a good experience..... Don't know if it's the store or I just have bad luck there....

I have had great experiences at the Walmart in North London on Fanshaw Pk Rd. Also have been to the Walmart in Strathroy recently...not as impressed there as the cashier said she doesn't like pricematches as it is confusing for her and then supervisor was a young girl with an attitude and I just wasn't impressed. I got what I needed but I think I would rather go to the Northend store for sure! :o)

FYI: I was at WM Whitoaks today and was put on a smaller limit of 6. I was buting the Nexxus trial size condtioner and was told I was only allowed to buy 4. So I told the cashier 2 void the other 2 LOL! I was quite disappointed because this is the first time I have ever found these at that WM ever(I have been searching there for about 4 months).
Strange question but do they limit everything or just "couponing items"? I never see them limiting bags of chips or bottles of pop when they are on sale and I see people with a lot more than six items the same.Want to keep fit while earning incentives like Scene Points?
