Atlantic Superstore, and Wal-Mart to start doubling coupons

me to! LOL, it's really awesome i even had a dream last night of me going and i spent like 3000.00 and i fainted and than said oh yeah they double coupons here and i paid 23.76 lol!!!!1!!

If they are only going to do it once every other week, imagine the checkout lines, people will probably be lining up to get in before the place even opens! I hope if they are going to do this, they have enough stock to keep up with the demand! I'm scared!!! lol!!!

If they start doubling coupons we will see the amounts of our coupons drop. Even though the states does this there coupon amounts are much lower than ours!!

im sure they would put a limit to the coupons like anything up to a dollar, but still awesome, when the sunlight goes on sale for example for 1.99

Well, if they do start doubling I will be happy! But I hope they also make a serious effort to deal with (some of) their cashiers' attitudes toward couponers first.

Hate to burst the bubble before it is totally blown up, but there is a good chance that Target will not double here in Canada. 2 reasons. 1st) They due not double in the US, once a year only. 2nd) Canadian coupon laws are very different then they are in the US. It would be great if that was to happen, we will have to wait and see.

Cdn cpn laws may be diff (can't say I know what they are) but we've already seen some doubling in Canada so doubt the law prohibits it. For example, Pharmasave a few months back had a National "double coupon" day (I shopped & got some super deals). Also isn't there a Pharmasave in Alta or Sask (can't remember locs) that has double cpn day once a month & also think I saw a thread about Sobeys (again out west) doing this?

We are NOT getting a Target here. So likly the Walmart/or/Superstore will not be doing the double coupon,,, I won't drive 3 hrs, just to shop,, unless I'm visiting the daughter in Halifax..

yes we have the double coupon days here for years I once paid a nickel for 121.00 dollars worth the stuff[I said whata nickel she said yep that's all you owe me]I think the cashier took off the whole coupon amount or something like that can't really remember.

I just asked my friend that works at a Westcoast Superstore and he confirmed he has heard that rumour too at work...will have a double coupon evening once every other week or so....That would be awesome!

Its on a Thursday though, last day of sales for the week.
Stock might be hard to come by on certain items.
