I went to Dollarama in Ancaster (Wilson St.) and it was a fairly miserable experience. The cashier was grumpy and shut down almost every coupon...she claimed that head office said the exact product had to be pictured on the coupon. I didn't put up a fight, I just said that's fine and told her to keep it. Funny thing...she only shut down the stuff that would be free...everything else was apparently fine. I ended up getting Cesar Bistro dog trays and a bunch of Dove beauty bars (green packs and blue packs = 2 different products). I got a crapload of eye rolling, a "this is stupid" and a "how does EVERYONE know we take coupons now?". I just smiled away!

I also went to Dollarama in the Meadowlands power centre. The kid working thought I was on crack when I told him that they do accept coupons...I asked a female worker as soon as I entered the store. I had to wait for her to come show him how to do it. She accepted every coupon without hesitation. I got a 750ml jar of Bicks hot banana peppers, scrunges, Nivea bagged soap refills, St. Ives lotions, JetDry, Dawn dishsoap. Will go back another time for sure! They are very nice here.
