How do I get rid of this nagging cough I've been having for two weeks? It seems like anything I put in my mouth or even when I talk I start to cough! Any suggestions without me taking medicine?

I had a bad cough a few years ago. It was so bad, I almost got sick. It turned out to be Asthma. Maybe you should see a doctor.

Hmmm two weeks is kinda long, have you seen a doctor?
last year mine was so bad that my doc put me on an inhaler...(I smoke)
dry coughs are the worst, every year I end up with one. and it can take awhile to get rid of.
I don't use any cough medicine, I use tea or candy canes or mints.
none the less go and get it checked!

As everyone else stated; best to see a doctor as sicknesses don't usually last over a week. Try some over the counter medicine in the mean time to try and make it easier for you during the day

I get bad coughs all the time after a cold. But if it isn't regular for you a check-up would be a good idea. Have you had a TB test lately? You shouldn't freak out or anything, but its possible.
