I got up early to be at Wal-Mart when they opened...I was waiting outside the door at 6:55AM! I ran to the cereal aisle like a crazy woman to get the chocolate cheerios and big surprise- nothing. I asked everyone and apparently they sold out earlier in the week. What a joke. So I got my other groceries:
-Fibre One brown sugar shredded wheat (6) FPCs = free!
(Please no comments about how many coupons I have, they were given to me by family and in trade, and there were lots left on the shelf)
-Heinz baby cereal (2) FPCs= free!
-Glad compost bags $5.48 - $1.50 coupon = $3.98 (they have been sold out of these everywhere since my city just started composting)
-Pure protein bars (3) - FPCs= free!
-Gillette shave foam (12) - $20 coupons = $1.60 made! (these will be donated as I already got some for my hubby)
-Skinny cow cup $1.67- FPC = free!
-Tostito/Ruffles chips $2.47 (4) = $10.37
-Tostitos salsa con queso $3.99 (2) - free WUB 2 chips = free!
-I also bought a photo album since I needed one...I thought the shelf price said $12.97 but it was $10.96 so nice surprise!
Total: $24.87
Saved about: $56.94
Then on to Save-On. I was waiting outside for them to open at 8, the manager saw me and let me in at 7:55, lol. I could see the chocolate cheerios from outside the door so I was excited, a huge pile of them! I got:
-Chocolate cheerios (2) - FPCs = free!
-Nesquik strawberry milk (2) - FPCs = free! (Wal-Mart has been sold out of them forever, except for the chocolate which my DH and I don't like)
-Milk $4.69 (probably would have been cheaper at Wal-Mart and I didn't have enough points for redeem it for free- oh well)
Total: $5.25
Saved about: $17.56 (coupons and club card)
A good score for getting up early. My sister-in-law and sister were also at Wal-Mart, lol. I also met a member of Frugal Mama and told her about Smart Canucks, probably could have chatted about coupons all day, ha ha ha. And I even made it back home for the kids well before my husband had to leave for work! This thread is currently associated with: Walmart

Yes I got my 6 boxes witout problems at wal mart....but for some reason i purchase 6 gillette shaving cream at 1,46$ each plus 2 travel size st-yves scrub....the cashier and the manager rolled their eyes and said to my ....you can get high value coupons exceding the purchase price...you cannot have money back....15 minutes for hers to making a decision...the others persons in files was exausthed..so I ended up saying get off the 2 st-yves and I will paid for one!!! sorry but my maxi is not better in coupons adjudting that walt-mart...so maybe they have good price..,,.but with coupons it's an hassle....I was figured out all the walt-mart have the same policies...but i was wrong...or they are incompetent...make your opinion....walt-mart drummondville btw

I got mine at Sobey's on the way to work. When they first came in there was TONS of them in a big pallet display ... today there were just maybe 20 boxes on the shelf. Good thing I didn't wait until lunchtime!
Cashier was great!
