4 boxes of Chocolate Cheerios and 3 Boxes of the shredded wheat.... FREE!
I stopped into Walmart on my way to work (8 am) and ran in to grab it.
Won't lie, was sort of expecting a mad crushing crowd full of elbows flying and cleared shelves. I was puffed up like a quarterback, ready to jump in. Instead, I found the cereal almost instantly, and while there wasn't a HUGE stock (it's been on sale all week) there was enough to get what I wanted with about ten of each kind left over.
Checkout was uneventful. I had a delightful Asian cashier with a heavy accent who was so excited about my purchase she nearly peed her pants. She also kept talking about a sliver in her finger from a rosebush or something like that. Total would have come to $24-something, I paid NOTHING.
Then I strutted out like I owned the place and went to work.

I was at my local WM at 8:35...SOLD OUT!!!
I went to superstore 5 minutes later and guess what.....TEMP OUT OF STOCK
was the sign placed right where they should be...So I got the fiber one brown sugar and just tasted them..they are pretty good.
My kids will be disapointed
so I guess I will be heading back once they are back on hte shelves ( probably tomorrow they will be restocked LOL) and buy a box.
I think it is awesome for those of you who managed to get a box
, the early bird truly does get the worm

Superstore will take the coupon even after the day. Just ask and they will let you all have to do is show the expiry date and they will let you get them.

Nope. Had to get to work. Also, wanted to get my free shtuff in the car before the hoards of panicked couponers burst through the doors.

I think a lot of it comes down to where you live. We have a LOT of grocery stores in Vernon and not a huge couponing population. I mean, there are quite a few of us, but the city is big enough to accomodate us all. I don't think that anyone should have a problem getting their free cereal here, especially if they're at the stores early enough.
