Thread: Sobey's brag - yay chicken!

We went to pick up our Cheerios (yay free!), and of course milk! My husband was browsing the meat area looking for deals and found two incredible deals.
Two packages of chicken were mislabelled - one for .12 cents (1.64kg, 6 breasts; boneless skinless), and another for .10 cents (1.46kg, 6 breasts). I took them to customer service and asked how much they really were, and the woman said, "Well, that's our fault - you're getting them at that price today!". :D
So in total, the milk, soda, two packs of chicken, 4 cereals, plus a treat at checkout for my daughter (she was so patient today), we paid $6.56.
Best Sobey's trip ever. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

That is soo great! My co-op here mislabelled meat for $0.02 on chicken and same $0.02 on hamburger patties another time. Nice that they let people have it at that price when it's so obviously a mistake. Great job!

very lucky and great deals
that happened to me once at costco. they had there prime rib steaks on for $2.00 for a huge package(it was on all of them) me thinking it was an insane deal seeing it was canada day the next day I filled the cart up with about 30 packages. got to the cash and the cashier said whoa I think they may have priced them wrong(apparently it was suppose to be around $25-$30 a pack.but they gave them all to me for that price. hubby calls it our canada day miracle. great summer on steaks lol
