So I went out this morning on the hunt for extra Canadian Tire scratch cards and managed to find 8, yay!!!!!!!!!!!! With the two I already have that makes 10

AND.... I ran into the newspaper delivery person and asked them about leftover papers and coupon inserts. They gave me 2 papers and asked where I lived and said they would drop off any leftovers So excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a side note, my birthday is on Friday in 2 weeks which falls on our paper recycling day and I have the day off. Is it sad that I'm excited to go recycle bin shopping on my birthday

Hope you have a good birthday!

Got a free scratch card from the CT cashier - she took pity on me because I was paying with CT money. She did not have many cards, but since I was first in the store, scored one.

I first went to customer service to ask if they could scratch all my cards to see how many Timmies cards and I got and how much stuff I would have to buy. No problem!!!!! Got 4 Timmies cards and 6 $5 cards. The lady at CS told me it was fine to use all the $5 cards but that I would have to use them on seperate transactions which I figured anyhow. So I picked up 2 Tides, 2 packs of bags for the Green bin and two packs of these really nice Bamboo dish towels. Get to the cash and the girl tells me I can only do one. I explain that I have already been to CS, was told I could do 6 seperate transactions and that the girl had already signed off on the cards. She asked another cashier and then the girl and comes back and says "Ok, I can only do it for you and only this once." Whatever!!!!!!!! This is why I went to CS first to avoid this issue at the cash but it all worked out. If they had it written anywhere that there was a limit of 1 per customer then that would be one thing but there was no such notice anywhere. I very rarely go to CT especially if I have coupons for this precise reason, everyone seems to make up their own rules as they go along Oh, well, it all worked out well.

Great long weekend, free/cheap stuff at CT, TONS of SDM points, and now I find out that I can get more HBC points and AirMiles. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it said one per person on the back of the scratch card.

It's just said one per customer for the gift card, not the 5$ off

I found about 50 of the cards dumped in a recycling bin at work but I have to work all day so can't get there before they close. Such a waste! Wish I could have done something with them.

My sister and I went to the Unicity Store at 4:30 today and put through 13 seperate transactions each without any problems. They were all Timmie's cards, but they didn't have any left, so they told us to find things to buy and they would just deduct $3 off each transaction. Alright I have no problem with that either! With a cart and off we went to shop ... Tide soap, Tide Release gel pacs, Kleenex - 9 pack, Birdseed, Dog treats, household cleaners and a whole lot more. Yay!
