I doubt this thread is the reason - anything can happen during a trade. This thread has only been viewed 20 times (and I suspect multiples count individually) - meaning only the people posting in it have probably seen it.
I am fairly new to this site and now have a trade rating of 1, I have read what has happened to people and I think this is a great thread. As someone that doesn't have alot of trades yet I think this will benefit me as well as the ones I make trades with so I don't mind at all having my name in this thread.
I am aware of what the thread is for. I only posted how I keep track of trades at home as a few people have been commenting on how they need to keep track of their trades. I think this thread is a great idea.Quote:

They were both trades for gift cards. I am sending out my end first, and they are sending me theirs when they get it.
I am also trying to make more trades for giftcards with a couple other users!
I thought I'd put it out there, so everyone sees that I'm not trying to rip people off. I'm telling the truth and letting you know that I am trading with multiple people. I'm also sending my gift card first so the person can spend it before they send my envelope if they want.

I think this thread is a place to start, but I can also see it being difficult to look through many pages in order to find out if a member has pending trades (even when using ctrl+f).
I have so many trades waiting. I am going to be honest, I have only received 2 out over 15 this past week. I hope I get a lot in the next few days. If not, I will post the people I am waiting on. Alot are newbies.
I usually just go to the drop down menu from their name and select view more posts from this user. Then you can see everywhere they have posted.Quote:
