Smartcanuck's Facebook Contest!!!!OVER!!!!!!!

In case some have been living under a rock we have an AMAZING Facebook Page for Smartcanuck's!!! We would like to see more SC'ers on Facebook as Well! If we reach 6000 Likes we will have a draw for 25.00 Gift Card x2!!!! The trick is I want to keep this thread about what we can do to improve, what we like ect. I want to keep it off of random chat. You must of course like Smartcanucks page yourself...so get clicking . I also will be asking random questions about what is posted on Facebook to see if your paying attention to the page! Once we get to 5000 I will do a random org draw for the two gift cards! That will be from Smartcanucks! But all that know me know their will be a twist or two or three involved! First one being a random draw before the 5000 Likes for a envie of coupons!(I won't say when )

I like that the deals I would normally see on the SC blog appear on Facebook as well. I think it's important to keep FB announcements/updates to 5 or less a day - any more than that would be overwhelming.

I did alot of cleaning in there today! I do agree on apx 5 a day I try to keep to main wow's for the day

I agree with keeping it to just the MAJOR Blog posts, I HATE getting bombarded with updates on Facebook. Has caused me to hide posts from places I really do like but just not their constant posts and sadly I have forgotten about many of them.

I love the fact that facebook pages that have freebies/promos are liked, makes them easier to find then searching through my own.

I am not sure how much the discussion area will be used since there are the forums here, but perhaps put a few key elements in there for discussion starters?

I have 'liked' sc for a while - I appreciate that you are posting more lately. I learned about the blue cheese calendar and the cleo promotion from your posts on FB. It is nice to be notified of really cool promotions, sometimes I forget to visit this site but I am often on FB.

I just "liked" SC. I didn't even realize there was a FB page, although I'm not very FB literate. I dont even have my own account, I just use DH's for freebies. lol.

My only suggestion would be to keep FB announcements to a minimum. Maybe just post the HOT deals each day, instead of every deal. Nothing worse than getting a bunch of announcements on your page. I know a lot people "unlike" companies because of that reason.

Other than that, it looks good!
