i need expert coupons advice!

hey!
i have a coupon that says you get a free febreze noticeables warmer with purchase of 3 febreze, dawn or mr clean products.
i also have a coupon for buy 2 dawn, save a dollar.
so if i buy 3 dawn products and save a dollar for 2, am i not allowed to use my free febreze coupon?

good question and one I would like to know the answer to, as Dawn is on sale this week!

I would say yes, but it really depends on the store, and the cashier. I have done this for a similar deal, and basically it's a matter of saying "it doesn't say I need to buy the Dawn at full price to get the Febreeze noticables". That being said, I wouldn't try it at Superstore because they seem to be getting a little fussier.

And I am no expert, but any means, but I've seen other posts that say that sort of thing.

it would depend on the restrictions on the coupon - i'm guessing that it doesn't say "cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupons"? - i've seen quite of few of my coupons that have that limitation

It will depend more on the cashier than anything else. I would definitely try it and if you get a decent cashier you should be able to do it. I also find that if you have other things to purchase and not just the 3 dawn you're trying to use the coupons on, then you'll have a lot better chance of getting it to work.

If the cashier refuses to let you use the two coupons you can always tell them you've changed your mind and no longer want to purchase the items.

the frebreze warmer is one coupon for the free product and the buy 2 dawn products and get a $1 off is another. i have used similar coupons on items. i had bogo coupons and used a coupon for the one i bought. such as the fantastic spray that was on sale at the superstore. they had it on for $2.99, i used a $1 off coupon for the one i bought and used a bogo coupon for the free one. i hope this helps

You may have to explain it to the cashier but it should be allowed. The noticeable coupon is for the noticeable if you buy 3 products. It doesn't say you need to buy these at full price or without coupons. The Dawn coupon is on the Dawn and has nothing to do with the noticeable.

It's the same as using the $3 ground beef coupon. You get $3 off if you buy hamburger helper.But you can use a $1.00 coupon on the Hamburger Helper too.

i'm just a bit nervous because of the ziploc/clubhouse fiasco.
i do not want a repeat of that.

that's what my boyfriend says too.
but i really don't know.
i can see it from both sides.
it's hard to argue it when you don't know if you're right or wrong.

i just want to be an honest couponer.
i don't play anything to cheat.
i think i should be able to use the free febreze with the $1 off dawn, but i don't want to rip anyone off.

You won't be, seriously. When you look at the criteria the company needs to be reimbursed you meet it. So they get their money and everyone is happy.

i get what you're saying.
but with the walmart and ziplocs thing - i was sure i was right until he said when he tries to turn in the coupons, they will see i bought ziplocs and got ziplocs.
then when they look to see the ziplocs for the clubhouse, they would be already spoken for because i got ziplocs.
that's when i thought ok, maybe he's right.
