Anyone else notice the awesome deals on meat in the early morning at Thrifty Foods(Hillside Mall). I go early now and only buy meat that is marked down. Recently, I bought Chicken Cordon Blue which is normally $4.00 per/pkg for $2.50 per package, and I'm always purchasing hamburger, sausages, maui ribs, steak with stickers for $1.00-$5.00 off the package. I'm saving a bunch of money buying reduced meat.

I also find that the bakery deals are great at Safeway(university Heights) in the mornings. I usually go on Saturdays and find many items with 50 percent off stickers. It also gives me a chance to look over the clearance section(can have some great deals here especially using coupons) right by the bakery.
