I'm just curious who is right in this situation.....
At Walmart today I bought 2 Old Spice deoderants for 2.50 a piece. I had a coupon for $1 off and $3 if you buy 2. I was told i was stacking. I've done this before and used one coupon per item but he said since i used a coupon on the first i couldn't use the $3 for 2. I've very confused and was just wondering if anyone knew if i was doing it wrong or if this guy was wrong.

I 'stack' at Walmart all the time..but it's using two coupons on the same product....it has to be ONE MANUFACTURER coupon and one non manufacturer coupon. iE ..Yesterday I bought a Lady's Speedstick for $3.97 at WM and I had a RCSS coupon for $2 off the same Lady Speedstick Stainguard as well I had a Manufacturer coupon for Lady Speedstick Stainguard from WebSaver.ca for $2 ..so I 'stacked' the two even though the RCSS (Loblaws) coupon says you can only use one coupon and I got the item for free plus a couple of cents. Technically WM rings the RCSS coupon in as a price match as they don't get money back from competitors coupons. ..so you can't use a coupon on ONE item TWICE. It doesn't work that way..it's not stacking. Stacking is using multiple coupons on ONE item. Hope this helps

I`m not 100% on this so don`t quote me, but since you used the save $2 wub2 it would probably apply to the two, then the save $1 would be stacking. or vice versa

You are only allowed 1 coupon per item at walmart. So to try and use 2 per item is considered stacking there.

I believe it would be considered stacking as you are trying to apply two coupons to the same items. Walmart does not allow stacking with manufacturers coupons.

that's right because when you use the "when you buy" coupon it involves both items. You can "stack" with other stores coupons because they are done as a price override so they are basically PMing the coupon

That is stacking, you are taking $1 off 1, then $1.50 off again when you use the $3/2

this is intereslingly a little sticky , so i think clarification would be on whether walmart considers a "competitors store coupon" as a coupon or as a price match. If they look at the other stores coupon as just a price match, then i see where you could get away with using one manufacturer coupon. But technically you would be using 2 separate coupons. and the wheels in my head go - round - and - round , round - and - round ...lol

Yes it is stacking. If it is a BOGO you can use 2. One for the product you are paying for and the BOGO for the second product. But B2S$ is different. That means you have to buy 2 to get the 4 amount off

I brought my Rexall coupon book into different Walmarts over the last few days.
Hamilton- Hwy 53 & Hwy 20 location - took the $2 off coupon for Gillette Body Wash but said it only applied to the large size - we got 3 paid $1.77 each
Hamilton - Upr James - wouldn't take the coupons at all
Burlington - Brant @ Fairview - same coupon, said I could only buy one item per coupon - I had 2 coupons so got 2 of the small size on sale for $2 each for FREE

Why don't all the Walmarts treat them the same? It's so frustrating!
