Well there is nothing on their facebook page about when they are launching the new site (which supposedly would remove the treasure box), but I'm sure they're still working on getting it up and running. Personally I would be pleased with both/either of those changes. I would love to see a more affordable (5$) amazon gift card come back, either amazon.ca 5$ or let us Canadians buy the amazon.com 5$, because personally I do shop on amazon.com from time to time.

If they removed the treasure box for something better (like for a search engine that rewards more frequently/reliably for instance), I would say good riddance. I have 46 keys on the treasure box and there are many, many days when I get nothing more than a useless boost (there are no videos to watch and no offers I want to complete, I prefer to do my peanutlab surveys on other sites that pay more and lately they don't have any crowdflower tasks) and daily bonus keys which just spin around and don't actually award me anything with monetary value. If I am really lucky I get 4-6 hulkcoins from the box, but even that seems to be pretty rare lately. The treasure box is kind of dumb to me... it's hard to actually earn from (in terms of actual money, ie. hulkcoins), but it's like they use the treasurebox to try to placate users and keep us happy, make us feeling like we are winning something... but mostly it just gives out daily keys which don't go anywhere and boosts which again, don't equal actual money in your hands unless you try to find some offer or survey to do. As someone who doesn't have any referrals, earning on gifthulk has gone at a snail's pace recently.

Furthermore I am not convinced that having more permanent keys means that you actually win more prizes on the treasure box, or at least more valuable prizes... I don't feel that I win any more hulk coins on the treasure box with 46 coins than I did with 20 keys or even back when I only had 10 keys.. there seem to be a fixed number of coins no matter how many keys you have.. the only thing I win more of are boosts (I have won 4 boosts in one day, and they just cancel each other out rather than all stack/combine). So yeah... sorry for the rant but I would love to see the treasure box replaced by something that is more of a guaranteed win every day, like a search engine that gave at least one win every day (and when I say win I mean actual coins, not boosts or useless daily keys).
