I did the offer - I did download the file but I didn't install it - got the credit a little while later

Just did this too, I don't do dl offers but this worked!. I'm using gifthulk a lot more since the change, we'll see how it keeps up. Before I only did the daily poll cause it was a waste of time to do treasure chest when it didn't guarantee anything.

I did none of those things, but I did get credit after signing up. The only additional thing I did was click on the download link, although I did not actually download anything.

I click OK to "open file", then sometimes nothing happens, sometimes I get an error message.

I didn't get an error message, but I'm on a mac. But other than the error message, that bottom window is similar to the window I got, I just chose "cancel" so nothing downloaded. Then I left the offer window open for a while until it credited (I don't remember exactly how long it took to credit, between 15-45 minutes I think it was).

That must be it! Thanks maybe I am not on Firefox, and when I clicked the "Play Free" button, nothing happened,
so I clicked under it where it says "download" in small letters , then on next page again I clicked the "Download" button.

Will go try with Firefox, and hope it works *fingers crossed*
