What to do with 40.00 and a bit of self-pity...

This morning I hit SDM for the 20x Optimal Event. Decided to treat myself to two new lipsticks and a few other things I had coupons for. Spent 10 minutes reviewing the coupon policy with the cashier and finally got her to acknowledge that she owed me the points but I am pretty sure she shorted me about 600 points but I can't figure out what items she excluded. Anyway, got home and unpacked my bags and NO lipstick. Called the store back and they weren't there, check everywhere but they are still MIA. Guess that is what I get for treating myself.

Still feeling sorry for myself I decided to visit LD to get some diapers (getting low and with the P&G prohibitive wording now, it is getting harder to get them for free and most coupons are expiring July 31st.) I also wanted to get some of the SunRype Apple Juice that they have on for 0.99. My boys love apple juice....maybe that is why I needed more diapers LOL

I headed to the LD on Kingsway at Joyce with the boys and got....



SunRype Apple Juice 0.99 x 10 (no coupons but they are about half the usual price)=9.90
V-8 fusion Juice 1.99 x 2 (Price Matched to Zellers) - 2.00 (0.50 x2 from magazine insert for money off campbells product and 0.50 x 2 tear pad)=1.98
Purex 3.00 (Price Matched Zellers) - 3.00 (sample insert coupon) = FREE
Pampers Mega 2 for 26.99 (LD Price) + 3x Pampers Wipes 7.49 (PM Zellers) + sample pack wipes 2.99 - 35.00 in various P&G, brandsaver and pampers village coupons) = 5.48 (not free like before, darn P&G wording but still better than paying full price)
Pampers Pull Ups x 2 for 26.99 (yes I know I have boys but they had no boys ones in stock, I'll exchange them at a later date) - 19.00 (P&G, brandsaver, village) = 7.99 (not free but better than nothing)
Huggies Mega x 2 = 26.99 - 21.00 (SmartSource and Huggies Mailout) = 5.99 (More than I would want to pay but I am trying to look at it like a BOGO deal )
MumMums 3.49 x 2 - 6.98 (InStore Coupon when you buy a Huggies Mega) = FREE

Plus one IronMan Figure set 5.99 and one Hot Wheels 1.99 (Not on Sale but bribes/rewards for my boys who rode along.)
