Thread: Couponing Questions: Help!

Hey everyone!
I'm brand new to couponing and I have a bunch of questions. I'd be super appreciative if someone could help me out! Here are my questions:
1. I know that coupon stacking in Ontario is not allowed. However, I watched a video saying that you can use a store coupon AND a manufacturer coupon at Loblaws stores. Is this true? So that means at Walmart I'll never be able to use 2 coupons on the same product?
2. In the Walmart coupon policy, it says that they will only accept printable coupons that say "Manufacturer Coupon" on it, but I haven't found any that have? I also used 6 Aspirin coupons that didn't say that and it worked, so I'm confused.
3. I've heard of people ordering items at places. I've never heard of this before, can someone explain?
4. How do you know when the Smart Source or Red Plum? flyers come out? I need to get my hands on some! The coupons I order online haven't come in the mail yet
I've read the schedule but how will I know what newspaper it comes in?
Thanks everyone!
Marie

I can answer #1:
Loblaws has recently changed their coupon policy and now only accept either a store coupon OR a manufacturers coupon, but not both.
And #4:
There's a thread here on SC somewhere with the schedule for 2011. I don't have a link, but try a search in the Coupons forum (I think that's where it's located). The next SmartSource comes out August 6th. Not sure about the RedPlum, but I think it's around the same time.
Hope that helps!

2. No one but Walmart knows why they want printable coupons to say "manufacturer coupon." It's supposed to protect them from fraud, but it doesn't in any way. It's up to the cashier to know and follow the policy of the store. In most cases, we wish that they would, but this is one instance where their policy doesn't make any sense so it's best if the cashier doesn't know about it.
3. Can you be more specific about what "items" you are asking about? Do you mean online shopping or maybe ordering freebies from companies or placing an order for items at a store?

Thanks you two! I mean placing an order for items at a store, like if they're out of stock or you want to order more

If they're out of stock you can ask for a rain-check. However, you should note that not all stores issue out rain-check. Also, if you feel bad about clearing shelves, since you might make a purchase of more than 10 or 20, then you can pre-order at customer service, so that you don't clear any shelves.
